ZKW Group, part of the global LG Group, will open a Shared Services Center in Sofia, Bulgaria, creating nearly 100 new jobs in IT, digitalization, accounting and marketing, BalkanEnegineer.com has learned from Economy.bg.

ZKW Group, a subsidiary of global technology giant LG, announced its investment in a new Shared Services Centre in Sofia. The project will cover activities in the areas of information technology, digitalization, accounting, marketing, as well as purchasing and sales. When fully developed, the centre will create nearly 100 new jobs, a significant step towards strengthening Bulgaria's position as a preferred destination for high-tech investments.
The investment decision is the result of a nearly year-long collaboration between the Consulate General of Bulgaria in Munich and the Bavarian consulting company IBG Management Consulting. Bulgaria was chosen over six other locations in Eastern Europe thanks to a combination of qualified specialists, experience in shared service centres and favourable economic conditions. Consul General Stefan Yonkov expressed confidence in the success of the project and commitment to support the company in the future.
