AdBlue production will operate on a single shift using an automated industrial mixer with a capacity of 9,000 l/h. Technical urea (carbamide) will be used as the raw material, and the finished product will be available in various package sizes and can be loaded directly into tankers. According to the investment proposal’s parameters, production will reach approximately 75 m3 of finished product per day. The new facility continues a direction in which Auto Trade Chemicals has been operating for nearly two decades.

The company was founded in Plovdiv in 2004 and is engaged in the import and distribution of chemical products for the automotive sector. It has been offering AdBlue since 2007, and according to company information, it is the official representative in Bulgaria for the Polish company Grupa Azoty S.A. and distributes the group’s NOXy AdBlue product. The launch of the new facility is expected to create 12 jobs.
