The Albanian investment and construction group BALFIN is expanding its portfolio by entering the family entertainment sector. The company has already acquired a 40% stake in HyperActive, the largest indoor entertainment centre in Kosovo, BalkanEngineer.com has learned from its press release. The total investment amounts to 34 million euro, which will be directed towards the chain's expansion in Kosovo, North Macedonia and Albania.

Located in Pristina Mall, HyperActive offers a variety of attractions for visitors of all ages. The centre features a go-kart track, bowling alleys, VR zones, arcade games and interactive spaces that combine classic and innovative entertainment. The project aims to offer a new standard in the industry by combining physical activity with the latest technological innovations.
In addition to the significant investment, HyperActive will also have a major impact on the local economy, with the outdoor entertainment centres expected to create hundreds of new jobs in the region. The initial business model created aims to not only meet the needs of consumers, but also have a positive impact on the environment by implementing sustainable technologies and reducing carbon emissions.
Following the successful launch in Kosovo, BALFIN Group has more ambitious plans for rapid expansion. Construction of the next site is already underway in North Macedonia, and Albania is expected to become part of the network by 2026. In the longer term, the company is also looking at opportunities to enter other European capitals such as Vienna and Berlin.
