With an extensive range of metalworking machine tools, new technological solutions and in-house developments for automated and autonomous machining operations, RAIS made a strong impression at this year’s MachTech&InnoTech Expo industrial trade fair. At the event, the manufacturing company highlighted its comprehensive product portfolio and its years of experience in developing efficient manufacturing processes. Visitors to the stand had the opportunity to explore different types of machine tools, ranging from Swiss-type lathes and vertical machining centres to automated manufacturing cells.

“I am very pleased to say, even if it may sound a little immodest, that our CNC machine portfolio covers almost every type of machine. RAIS aims not merely to supply high-tech equipment, but to deliver complete solutions that create real added value for manufacturers,” Eng. Artin Bazdigian, Application Engineer, said during the exhibition.
One of the highlights of the company’s stand was the FLEX autonomous pallet station. Developed entirely in-house by the RAIS team, it provides an automation solution based on a handling system that operates with pallets and can be integrated with both three-axis and five-axis vertical machining centres. The live demonstration at the exhibition featured the M500 vertical machining centre.
Another highlight was a TAKISAWA CNC machine, presented by RAIS for the first time at MachTech&InnoTech Expo. The showcased turning and milling centre is equipped with two spindles and two turrets, each featuring a Y-axis. The machine also includes a handling system for unloading finished workpieces. When integrated with a bar feeder, the system can operate for extended periods without operator intervention, automatically performing the main machining and workpiece unloading operations.
Once again, RAIS included CITIZEN machines among the exhibits at its stand. The equipment on display included the CITIZEN L32, a seven-axis Swiss-type lathe designed for precision machining of small components.
