Within the framework of the partnership, the two institutions will work together to develop analyses, strategies, and legal frameworks that will facilitate the functioning of e-merchants and ensure greater security for consumers. The Minister of Digital Transformation of the Republic of Macedonia, Stefan Andonovski, emphasized that e-commerce is one of the main drivers of the modern economy and that the state will provide full support for its legal and transparent development.

The memorandum provides for the organisation of specialised training courses, working meetings and awareness-raising campaigns on the benefits of digital tools in trade. This cooperation aims to reduce the grey economy and encourage innovation among small and medium-sized enterprises. The new initiative is expected to give a strong boost to the competitiveness of Macedonian companies in both the local and international markets.
