The investment is aimed at expanding the production of high-tech components for the automotive industry, with the new facility expected to implement state-of-the-art automated processes. With the launch of the factory, Fischer will significantly expand its team in Serbia, creating dozens of new jobs for engineers and skilled technicians.

The mayor of Jagodina and representatives of the German company noted that the rapid development of infrastructure and the availability of skilled personnel were among the key factors in selecting the location. Fischer is a globally recognized brand in both the automotive sector and the field of fastening systems for construction, and the expansion in Jagodina will allow the company to serve its customers throughout Europe more effectively. Construction is expected to begin shortly, with the first products rolling off the assembly line next calendar year.
