The plans for Bulgaria were presented alongside LEPAS’s technology and product strategy. The brand focuses on electric vehicles, and its future lineup will include plug-in hybrids, hybrids, and fully electric models. These are based on the new LEX architecture, developed for various vehicle classes and powertrain configurations.

The L8 will kick off sales in Bulgaria as the largest model in the lineup. It will be followed by the more compact L6 and L4. Ahead of the commercial launch, LEPAS plans additional vehicle presentations, test drives, and the development of partnerships in the country. LEPAS is one of the new brands through which the Chery Group is expanding its international business. It was introduced as a standalone brand in 2025, and in 2026, it began entering various markets. Bulgaria will be part of the next phase of this expansion.

Chery Group is present in a number of markets in Southeast Europe, including Romania, Greece, and Croatia, and is preparing to enter Slovenia as well. For the period January–July 2026, the group reported 1.63 million vehicles sold worldwide, of which 604,000 were electrified vehicles.
