For another year the international food exhibitions Mesomania, Way of the Milk, Bulpek and Interfood & Drink have become a platform for demonstrating the newest technologies, trends and technical solutions in the sector. Among them, the innovative solutions showcased by Betelgeus have left a strong impression, aimed at improving efficiency, quality and safety in production. The company focuses on a new generation of printers, labeling systems and robots for automated palletizing that meet the specific needs of the food industry.

During its participation at the forum, Betelgeus gave an exclusive look at the new Linx 9000 series of industrial continuous inkjet printers with integrated automatic printhead cleaning station. Among other highlights of the stand was ROXI – the latest generation of self-adhesive label applicator from CAB.
Another focus was Stackbot – the first of its kind plug-and-play solution for automated palletization. The showcased configuration included a robot palletizer with a carrying capacity of 20 kg, suitable for organizing heavy boxes. The device is equipped with a special griper, meant for the food sector and in particular for heat-shrink packaging, open cartons, cassettes and containers. “This is particularly important for the dairy and meat industries, where open, cassette-type cartons require side gripping – something that many industrial solutions cannot reliably perform,” commented Betelgeuse.
“One of the biggest innovations at Stackbot is the implementation of a new high-standard safety system based on the latest ISO requirements. It includes multiple sensors through which the robot slows down when a person enters the warning zone, switches to slow mode when a person is nearby, and stops completely when an operator enters the protected area," the company explained.
