The European Digital Innovation Hub - Northwest Automotive Cluster Bulgaria (EDIH‑NWACB), is an organization which actively supports establishments and public entities in Bulgaria in the process of digitalization and green transformation. The hub ensures access to real technological solutions, support from experts and instruments for digitalization, automation, and increasing production efficiency.

As part of the European Digital Innovation Hubs Network (EDIH), the initiative is established with the help of the EU program "Research, Innovation and Digitalization for Smart Transformation" (RNIDIT) 2021–2027. The hub functions as a regional center for access to technologies, expertise and innovations, aimed at the automobile and production industries. Through it, companies integrate Industry 4.0 solutions, optimize processes and increase competitiveness.

EDIH-NWACB offers valuable services free of charge to businesses through a “De Minimis” approach, allowing companies to receive expert support that would otherwise require significant financial resources.

The hub operates as a “One Stop Shop” for the automotive and manufacturing industries, combining technological expertise, access to specialized equipment and comprehensive consulting support. The focus is on solutions with real impact – higher efficiency, productivity and sustainability.

EDIH‑NWACB offers the opportunity for establishments to test technologies before investing – through demonstrations, simulations and real tests with industrial robots and production systems. This way the solutions are based on concrete information and proven results, instead of speculation. The hub helps to integrate modern engineering and digital solutions, automation, IoT systems for monitoring in real time, digital twins, CAD/CAM technologies, analyses of data and artificial intelligence for maintenance and control of quality. Additionally, services such as prototyping, IT audits, and preparation of digital transformation roadmaps are offered.
