Reichle & De-Massari Bulgaria Production is part of the Swiss-based Reichle Group, operating in over 40 countries worldwide. Founded in 1964, the company remains family-owned and focused on innovation, precision, and quality. Our Bulgarian production unit, established in 2012, now employs nearly 350 people and continues to grow. We specialize in a wide range of optical components and solutions, developed and manufactured by a team of skilled engineers, designers, and technicians. 

In addition to our production site, R&M is also represented locally by R&M Bulgaria, which has been active on the market for over 17 years and operates in 12 countries across Southeastern Europe. 

We are ambitious and continue to grow and we are looking to hire motivated professional for the position of:

OPERATIONAL BUYER

The purpose of the position is to ensure consistent, timely, cost effective and high quality supply of material for the needs of the plant with focus on precision and customer satisfaction.

Main responsibilities:

• Place and track purchase orders for materials, consumables and services needed for proper operations of the plant;
• Control the status of the open orders and ensure their complete, accurate and on-time execution;
• Track goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing;
• Execute orders in accordance with purchasing requests and the price list agreed with internal/external suppliers or through the comparison of proposals from different external suppliers included in the vendor list;
• Manage the suppliers with regards to cost, capacity, delivery and quality performance.

Requirements:

• University degree, preferably in Economics, Logistics, or Engineering;
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and experience working with ERP systems (SAP MM will be considered an advantage);
• Advanced in Microsoft Excel;
• Previous experience in procurement within a manufacturing company (3–5 years) – considered a major advantage;
• Experience in material management and import activities will be a plus;
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken;
• Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills.
