The portfolio of leading engineering organization Systems Automation Technologies – SAT includes grand projects, covering the main stages in glass production: from automation of raw material dosing and mixing to furnace management and feeder temperature control. In the “New Glass” factory in Bulgaria, SAT researches the technological process and automates its activities in the “Materials” workshop, which integrates its own SCADA system DynamiX for control and visualization. At a different project from the sector, the focus is on modernization of the control process and the installation of electrical equipment. "When working on a materials processing plant, we examine the dosing, mixing, and transport of raw materials in sequence, as well as the connections between the equipment. The control system is developed based on the technological organization of the specific production process," SAT commented to BalkanEngineer.com.

With “New Glass”, SAT’s work begins with a detailed overview of the production process. The automation solution for the "Materials" workshop was developed on this basis, with control and visualization implemented via the DynamiX SCADA system. The software was created by the engineering company's team and configured according to the plant's requirements.
