The Turkish company Pergostil plans to invest BGN 5.1 million in the construction of a factory in the village of Krepost, Dimitrovgrad municipality, Bulgaria, dedicated to the production of aluminum pergola and glass systems. BalkanEngineer.com has learned this from BTA. The investment will create 20 new jobs.
Most recently, the company received a Class B certificate under the Investment Promotion Act, which was presented during an official ceremony to Pergostil owner Ilhan Albayrak.
The purpose of the investment is to provide additional production and warehousing space as well as to increase production volumes for export to Europe, Asia and Africa, covering over 30 countries on three continents. It is also planned to start production of special sun protection structures in the new factory in 2025.
Together with Pergostil, the number of projects certified by the Bulgarian Ministry of Innovation and Growth and the Bulgarian Investment Agency since the beginning of this year reaches 13, with a total value of BGN 189.3 million and a total of 853 jobs created.
