The Turkish holding company Sivriler Group, founded in 1998 by Metin and Ahmet Sivri, is a well-established name in the Turkish market, focusing on residential and infrastructure construction, the distribution of building materials and raw materials, as well as the large-scale production and trade of furniture and furnishings (through the Sivriler Mobilya brand). The new plant in North Macedonia will be tightly integrated into their production chain with the aim of exporting to European markets.

During a working visit to the Skopje Industrial Zone (TIZ), the director of the state agency, Goce Dimovski, met personally with Ahmet Sivri, director of the Sivriler Group. During the negotiations, the Turkish delegation familiarized itself in detail with the on-site infrastructure conditions, tax incentives, and state support that North Macedonia offers at various stages of implementing such projects. These parameters will form the basis of the future agreement between the state and the investor.

TIREZ emphasizes that the interest shown by renowned foreign companies is direct proof of the stable business environment in the country. Representatives of the Turkish business group, for their part, expressed their very positive impression of the proposed terms and confirmed that the visit to Skopje is an important step toward finalizing the market assessment and moving on to the drafting of a formal investment agreement.
