The model for mass production version of the C-HR of Toyota Yaris, which will be demonstrated at the Geneva Motor Show in March, will be produced by Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkey (TMMT), based in Sakarya. This will be the first time that a hybrid vehicle will be produced in the country. So far the Auris hybrid is produced at Toyota's factory in UK, and Yaris hybrid – in France.

The hybrid engine of the new crossover will be produced at the factory of Toyota Motors in Wales. The new Turkish Toyota will be sold both in Europe and beyond.

The production model based on the C-HR will be based on Toyota's new global architecture (TNGA). The vehicle will become the eighth model currently produced by Toyota in Europe. The local production-to-sales ratio is expected to rise beyond the 71% achieved in 2015.
