Bulgarian BrightCap Fund supports the expansion of Tow4Tech in Romania

13 may 2025

Bulgarian venture capital fund BrightCap Ventures has announced that it led a $1.5 million pre-seed investment round for Tow4Tech, a US SaaS startup focused on digitizing towing and roadside assistance services for commercial fleets. The deal aims not only to improve the technology platform, but also to strategically expand the company in Romania, BalkanEngineer.com learned from a company press release.

Tow4Tech, established in 2024 in the US, develops an intelligent dispatch management and real-time geolocation system that connects commercial transport operators with heavy-duty service providers. The platform automates the entire process from order acceptance to invoicing, significantly reducing the need for manual intervention.

As part of the partnership with BrightCap, the company has established a new legal entity, Tow4Technologies SRL in Romania, which will act as a European engineering and operations hub. Plans include building a strong team that will take on developments in artificial intelligence, customer support and core platform engineering functions.

Tow4Tech's product is already being pilot tested with one of the largest fleets in the US, comprising over 250,000 trucks, with full nationwide deployment planned by the end of 2025.

Founded in 2018 in Sofia, BrightCap Ventures focuses on early-stage investments in companies with proprietary technology development and global growth potential. Tow4Tech is the fund's first investment with a direct physical presence in Romania.
