Alfa Bank Romania joins the four new government programs in the country (IMM Prod, Garant Construct, Rural Invest and Innovation), whose main priorities are to boost local production, support construction works (including green zones), boost productivity and competitiveness in the agricultural field and support projects with innovative and digital components, Balkanengineer.com has learned from Romaniajournal.ro

Dragos Draghici, manager of the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) department at Alpha Bank Romania, said that both SMEs and start-ups need support to increase their growth potential. Through these new programmes, companies can improve competitiveness and sustainability in the local entrepreneurial environment and generate added value in the Romanian economy.
With the new programmes, eligible SMEs will also benefit from a government grant that will cover the full cost of the risk fee and administration fee over the whole period of the guarantee, as well as interest for 24 months after the loan is granted and a non-repayable component of up to 10% of the value of the guaranteed financing, subject to conditions, provided for in each programme.
Loans of up to RON 10 million can be obtained for investment projects and up to RON 5 million for working capital.
