Automatization of palletization operations is entering a new phase. Modern solutions can lead to higher productivity, precision and flexibility, but they also offer easy configuration, integration and maintenance. This is how STACKBOT differentiates itself – standardized roboticized palletization equipment, designed and produced by leading Bulgarian company BETELGEUS, which will make this new technology the focus in its booth number C6, zone 4, during this year’s industrial themed event Machtech & Innotech Expo. The event will take place between the 6^th and the 9^th of October at the Inter Expo Center in Sofia.

"STACKBOT combines all the key components required for automated palletizing into a single, ready-to-use solution: a Doosan Robotics collaborative robot, a proprietary StackGrip gripper, a StackFeeder infeed conveyor with a pneumatic FeedGate, two palletizing zones with positioning sensors, a 15.6-inch industrial HMI display, and an integrated control cabinet," BETELGEUS informed BalkanEngineer.com.

At the core of the system is the STACKBOT software, completely designed by the company’s engineering team. The software platform works as an independent solution for industrial computers with Ubuntu Linux, transforming palletization into an intuitive process, accessible directly from the user interface. Through an HMI display the user can create crates, pallet configurations and blueprints for palletization, without the need for programming, presetting and adjustment of points/positions in space, or a controller for managing and programming the operational movement sequence.

STACKBOT is a flexible robotized platform, which can effectively complete processes for palletization, depalletization, repalletization, capable of accommodating one or multiple production lines. The system has Single Pick and Multi Pick modes, which allows the process to be optimized depending on the specific task at hand.
