The development of heating solutions and technologies, applied to mixed heating systems – for example, underfloor heating, working in tandem with a typical radiator, offers a variety of advantages. When there is a lack of regulation and control of the equipment, however, these systems can lead to discomfort. Most common examples include too much heating, too little heating, as well as uneven distribution of heat in different zones. To avoid these scenarios, KAN-therm offers complete and independent solutions for control, in relation to the requirements of the project and the preferences of the client.

"The KAN-therm SMART and KAN-therm Basic+ systems offer a comprehensive solution for the automation of heating and cooling installations, including the control of radiator and surface-based systems. They are designed to ensure optimal thermal comfort within the building, efficient operation of the heating or cooling source, and high energy efficiency for the entire heating or cooling system," KAN-therm stated to BalkanEngineer.com. "KAN-therm SMART is a wireless, multifunctional automated control system in which room thermostats communicate with the control unit via radio signals. In contrast, KAN-therm Basic+ is a traditional wired automation system where the individual components are connected by electrical cables," they added.

KAN-therm SMART and Basic+ offer:

  • High-quality materials and a modern design;
  • Low servomotor energy consumption – only 1 W;
  • Clear communication with the user through pictograms;
  • A variety of useful features, including child lock, standby mode, day/night and automatic operating modes, as well as "Party" and "Vacation" functions;
  • Online control for KAN-therm SMART;
  • Compatibility with NC and NO type actuators
  • Power supply 230 V or 24 V;
  • Option to connect additional devices, such as a pump module, dew point sensor, external timer, and auxiliary heat source.
