Hexonic will participate in the international trade fair Chillventa and invites all industry professionals under special terms

From the 13^th to the 15^th of October, the next Chillventa event will take place – an international exhibition for cooling technologies, climatization, ventilation and thermal pump systems. This year's key thematic highlights are positioned at the intersection of emerging sector trends—specifically energy efficiency driven by low-emission refrigerants and the increasingly widespread application of heat pump technologies. The event will take place at NürnbergMesse, Nuremberg, Germany, and among the participants will be Hexonic – and established producer of heat exchange systems. The company invites all its colleagues, partners, clients and other interested specialists to visit the event, with special entry conditions.

What thematic areas does Chillventa cover?

Chillventa is a specialized event with a wide reach, including cooling technology, isolation technology, measuring and control devices, automation, climatization, ventilation and thermal pumps. The 2024 event managed to accumulate 1010 presenters from 49 countries and 33 076 visitors. The share of international visitors is around 57%, reinforcing the event's international character.

During 2026, the organizers have expanded the exhibition area with an additional room, and the program follows the same wide theme. One of the focuses of the event will be cooling agents with low potential for global warming (Low-GWP), high-temperature heat pumps, industrial heat pump systems, solutions integrated into production processes, and the use of artificial intelligence in plant rooms. "Special attention will be paid to the efficient use of thermal energy—including waste heat recovery, energy efficiency, greenhouse gas emission reduction, and the circular economy," Hexonic commented.

The exhibition will also feature an extensive accompanying program. Industry professionals will be able to participate in various forums covering "Applications, Training, and Regulations," "Refrigeration Technology," and "Air Conditioning, Ventilation, and Heat Pumps." Additionally, the day before the official opening—on October 12—the Chillventa CONGRESS will take place; this event will bring together specialists from research, development, and industry practice to discuss current technological and market issues.

Hexonic’s solutions for effective heat exchange in the context of modern sectoral requirements

"Hexonic’s presence at Chillventa is a natural fit. Our history dates back to 1988, and ever since, we have been developing efficient heat exchange solutions for applications in HVAC systems, heat pumps, and industrial processes, as well as in the food and pharmaceutical industries, the energy sector, and beyond," the company stated. Hexonic’s portfolio includes brazed and gasketed plate heat exchangers, shell-and-tube and shell-and-coil heat exchangers, specialized industrial heat exchangers, and dry coolers.

During 2024, Hexonic presented a series of solutions, among them being SHIELD – a plate-and-shell heat exchanger designed for operation at pressures up to 100 bar, as well as the L ULTRA, designed for pressures up to 140 bar. The focus was on the R-series plate heat exchanger in the LUNA configuration, designed for ammonia refrigeration systems, as well as the JAG model, which features a specific plate geometry aimed at increasing efficiency while simultaneously limiting pressure drop. Hexonic also highlighted the RAD—a shell-and-coil heat exchanger suitable for propane applications—and the D.Cool dry cooler.

In addition to its equipment, the company introduced visitors to the Cairo software tool, designed for selecting heat exchangers and calculating investment costs.
