The ceramic flap discs FCC Ultimate by Cibo are designed for high-performance grinding and aggressive material removal, meant for work with stainless steel and high-strength alloys. "They are widely used for processing and smoothing weld seams, removing casting defects, surface preparation, removing milling marks, grinding, and more. Thanks to their high-quality ceramic abrasive grain and special folded-flap design, FCC Ultimate discs deliver high performance, rapid material removal, and a long service life, even under heavy-duty operating conditions," representatives from the established trading company SR Abrasives & Tools— distributor for Cibo products — commented to BalkanEngineer.com.

"Cibo’s FCC Ultimate ceramic flap discs are designed for heavy-duty grinding applications requiring high performance, rapid material removal, and reliable operation under intense loads. Their advantages stem from the use of high-quality ceramic abrasive grain, which ensures exceptionally aggressive grinding and maximum efficiency when working with hard materials," SR Abrasives & Tools commented.
The curved formation of the flaps allows for more efficient operation at low grinding angles and difficult to reach areas, while improving face-grinding capabilities. The discs are equipped with a cooling coating, to help manage heat during operations and prevent thermal discoloration when processing stainless steel.
"FCC Ultimate discs feature a highly robust fiberglass backing for added durability, ensuring stability during heavy-duty operations and high-pressure applications. Their iron-free composition makes them suitable for processing stainless steel and other corrosion-sensitive materials. The combination of ceramic abrasive grain, enhanced construction, and durable materials gives these discs a longer service life compared to standard flap discs," noted SR Abrasives & Tools.
