In the world of modern industry, one of the most serious challenges to the reliability and flow of production processes is dealing with the accumulation of deposits, compacted bulk material and agglomerates in silos, bunkers, pipelines and process installations. These obstructions can hinder the movement of materials, lead to uneven dosing, and even completely block the equipment. “The VSR Blaster® system from the German company VSR Industrietechnik offers highly efficient, safe and energy optimized solutions for the removal of such deposits by discharging compressed air. The pneumatic device VSR Blaster® releases compressed air under high pressure through specially designed nozzles directly into the interior of silos, chutes, pipes or bunkers. The released pneumatic energy fluidizes stuck material, built up in critical zones, at which point it spills out of the equipment.
"The process itself is remarkably fast — the release occurs in milliseconds, which generates a powerful pulse, but without creating significant risks to the structure and contents of the installation. The system is designed to comply with safety requirements," Indumatic explained.
VSR Blaster® is used in a wide range of industries and process. The most important segments are:
