In the conditions found in a dynamic work environment, the management of people requires a clear strategy, sustainable processes and deepened understanding of the human factor. Such is the work of Miss Nevena Mileva, Human Resources manager at Multivac Bulgaria Production, a production firm specializing in systems for packaging, labelling, control and inspection, part of the multinational leader Multivac. The role of a HR manager in such an organization goes beyond administrative expectations and turns into a key element for the business’s sustainable development. "HR today is a strategic partner that builds culture, forms trust, and creates an environment in which people can develop," says Miss Mileva.

The professional route of Nevena Mileva began with a bachelor's degree in industrial management from the Technical University – Sofia, Plovdiv affiliate. Her education encompasses a wide range of disciplines – technical sciences to finances, legal and human resources. It is this foundation that allows her to make informed choices about her career development.

Today, Miss Mileva has approximately 20 years of experience in multinational companies and holding structures, including additional qualifications like CIPD and coaching. Her professional experience includes employment relations, payroll processing, selection, training and development, organizational culture and employer brand building.

At the beginning of her career, Miss Mileva viewed Human Resources as a function, focused on processes and precision. With time, this understanding had changed. "I realized that the true essence of the profession is much deeper. HR is not an intermediary between employees and management, but a role that creates conditions for people to be engaged, motivated and confident," she says.

According to her, it is this awareness that leads to a more mature professional approach – looking for long-term solutions rather than reacting to specific problems. In a manufacturing context, this means stability, clarity, and trust in processes.
