Uber expands its team in Bulgaria by the end of 2016

The US company Uber plans to expand its team in Bulgaria by recruiting highly qualified software professionals. Now the process of developing the research center runs with full force. So far there are 20 specialists recruited and by the end of the year their number is expected to reach 60, Bloomberg TV reports. Meanwhile Uber Bulgaria received a certificate for investment class A, exactly for the project of expansion the existing research center.

The investment should create new jobs for highly skilled software professionals and will provide an opportunity to work on high technology. Among the priority tasks of the project will be the expansion of the existing hub for developing and maintaining software. Engineers employed in Bulgaria will monitor the performance of the software and eliminate problems.

Development center in Sofia is one of the six centers of Uber worldwide that provide and create digital services used in over 360 cities in 66 countries.
