The official visit of Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama to Israel ended with a strategic agreement to continue the activities of the Albanian-Israeli Chamber of Commerce. The intergovernmental structure is designed as an operational tool to promote economic cooperation and open new market niches between the two countries, BalkanEngineer.com learned from Scantv.al.

According to Prime Minister Rama, this ongoing partnership will bring significant benefits to Albania, especially through access to Israel's leading global expertise in the sectors of high technology, innovative agriculture, and cybersecurity. He also stressed that the Chamber is a "concrete step towards the future" that will facilitate direct dialogue between investors and create a secure environment for the implementation of joint projects, as it has been doing since 2013.
The Chamber is expected to continue to act as a catalyst for attracting Israeli capital to the Albanian economy and to assist local companies in implementing digital solutions and automation. Among the organization's new priorities will be promoting the exchange of know-how and organizing business forums to turn political understanding into concrete trade agreements.
