US-based Broadstone Defense will build 4.69 mln. plant EUR in Macedonia

Washington-based USA company Broadstone Defense, represented by its subsidiary in Macedonia - Broadstone Security, began construction of a plant worth 4.69 mln. EUR in the country, learned BalkanEngineer.com from SeeNews.

The new plant, which will be located in the town of Brod (in Macedonian Language: Macedonian Brod) will produce ammunition and defensive weapons for personal use in accordance with NATO standards, announced Makedonian Minister of Defense during the groundbreaking ceremony.

As part of the project five production halls will be built together with administrative building and storage facility. Investment is expected to reveal about 200 jobs.
