The Romanian company Valtryp, specialized in the production of automotive steering wheels, has opened a new factory in Eurobusiness II Industrial Park in Oradea, Romania, BalkanEngineer.com learned from Romania-Insider.com. The facility covers an area of 7000 m2.
The total cost of the project is EUR 2.44 million, part of which is co-financed by European Union funds. The construction work on the new plant began in March 2018, and the official opening of the facility, which took place recently, coincided with the 25th anniversary since Valtryp’s establishment.
With the new investment, the company will increase its production capacity to 3000-3500 steering wheels per day. Valtryp will also hire new employees, with plans to expand its staff from 140 to 600 people.
