Telamon Europe has inaugurated its new, second production facility covering an area of 2,200 m2, which will see the installation of two additional cable crimping centres. BalkanEngineer.com has learned this from Libertas.mk. The facility is part of the investment expansion plan of Telamon - Europe, a subsidiary of Telamon Corporation, an American company based in Indiana, USA.
An assembly line for automotive parts will be installed and commissioned at the new production facility, which also provides for the creation of 300 new jobs. The investment means an increase in Telamon Europe's production capacity to 10 million products, planned by the end of 2023.
In addition to the announced new line, which is expected to be operational by the end of the month, the configuration of a second production line is planned, which will be operational by September 2023 at the latest.
With this new production site, the company records a total investment in North Macedonia of eight million euros. In addition to the direct financial investment, Telamon - Europe contributes more than 400 thousand euros annually to the state budget based on contributions and taxes.
