British manufacturer of cables opened new factory in the Romanian city of Craiova

British manufacturer of cables GTK opened production facility in the Romanian city of Craiova, informed Romania-Insider.com for BalkanEngineer.com. This is the first plant of GTK Group, located outside the UK. It will produce cables and protective boxes assemblies, says also the pressrelease.

The factory in Craiova has a total area of 450 sq. m. and has the same production capacity as the production plant in the UK. The total area of the plant can be expanded to 2000 sq. m.

"We are currently expanding our customer base in Europe - recently started to focus on Germany and this new production unit will help us raise the level of our services in the region," said the director of GTK John Morath.
