If 2024 was the year of solar panels, will 2026 be the year of solar batteries?

During 2026, integrated systems for energy reserves in PV installations will be applied as the norm, unlike the prior situation, in which batteries were viewed as a separate component. Storing energy becomes critical for the stability of the network, the protection of revenue and hybrid power purchase agreements (PPAs). The change is economical: solar installations ensure cheap production of energy, while storage allows for flexibility and security, which lead to profit.
