The role of FANUC Bulgaria in implementing robotic production systems and the strength of its system integrators

FANUC is a proven world leader in industrial automation, with years long experience and hundreds of thousands of robots integrated throughout world. The company offers a wide range of roboticized solutions, which practically cover all industries – from the automobile industry to logistics and electronics. FANUC Bulgaria plays a key role in this process, responsible for sale and maintenance of FANUC solutions in Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Albania, Greece and Cyprus. The Bulgarian branch has been part of the global FANUC team for 45 years and actively supports the industry by integrating modern automation solutions.

A vital role in this ecosystem are the system integrators – Bulgarian engineering companies that design, build and integrate roboticized cells with FANUC robots. We hereby present to you three projects implemented in 2025 that turn FANUC technologies into real solutions for specific production processes.

1. Innovative RAIS RT-5 transfer system, designed and manufactured by RAIS

The RAIS RT-5 rotary transfer machine specially designed for Caproni AD, performs simultaneous work on four details, placed on a rotating worktable. It is supplied with five work position – four are used for processing and the other for loading/unloading of details. At the last position, the automatic replacement of finished parts with new blanks is done using a FANUC M-20iD/35 industrial robot.

2. Siviko transforms its client's wooden pallet production with a FANUC robot

The successful automation for production of non-standard wooden pallets is a project by Siviko, involving the industrial robot FANUC R-2000iC/125L, supplied by FANUC Bulgaria. It is an excellent example of how robotics provides a solution to real-world challenges.

3. Simlogic solution with FANUC robots for automation of ceramic production

Another successfully implemented project by FANUC Bulgaria's long-time partner - Simlogic demonstrates the application of industrial robotics in the production of ceramic products. The project involves automated loading of clay blocks onto trolleys for feeding into the kiln of the production line.
