Gold Series III is the newest version of the industrial dust collection systems from Camfil. It develops on the well-known Gold Series, using more than two decades of different production environments. "The new model is designed to provide more stable airflow control, more reliable particle capture, and more predictable filter behavior when operating in busy processes. With the right configuration, the system can be equipped to meet NFPA and ATEX requirements," commented the company to BalkanEngineer.com.

“Gold Series III is an evolution of its predecessors, improved as a construction solution, and in relation to its synergy with other elements in the system. The vertical arrangement of the filters, the modernized deflector and the revised geometry of the housing ensure smooth airflow and better dust separation to the hopper", the specialists explained. These changes are especially important for technological operations, where fine or metallic dust particles are generated, such as in laser cutting, plasma cutting or thermal treatment.

One of the distinguishing aspects of the Gold Series III is the OptiCone filter cartridges. They use an internal cone-shaped element with an open-bottom design that helps distribute airflow more evenly within the cartridge and improve impulse cleaning. This leads to much more constant pressure and the filter working with more stability. OptiCone cartridges work with OmniPleat filter media, which is designed to maintain pleat alignment and mechanical resistance under load. The manufacturer offers different versions of the media according to the conditions of the specific production process, for example, characterized by high humidity, temperature or the presence of fine metal particles. The optimized combination of OptiCone and OmniPleat promotes smoother air movement and more reliable system operation,” Camfil said.
