The awards within the 16th edition of the Bulgarian National contest "Innovative Enterprise of the Year" were given on December 18, 2020, BalkanEngineer.com learned from a statement by Applied Research and Communications Fund. The event was organized by ARC Consulting, Enterprise Europe Network - Bulgaria and Applied Research and Communications Fund, with the support of Directorate-General GROW, the Executive Agency for SMEs at the European Commission, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Joint Innovation Centre of the BAS.
The companies were awarded by the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev within the National Innovation Forum "Economic Sustainability through Innovation".
Honorary statuette and diploma in the category "Market Leadership" were awarded to STAMH, and the prize for "Innovative New Start-up" for 2020 was won by Ondo Solutions. Electrosphere was awarded a diploma for "Innovation Management", and for "Quality of Life" for 2020 the winner was Alegi Engineering.
The diploma for "Innovation in the creative industries" went to Evedo Bulgaria, and for "Social Innovation" - to the Central Cooperative Union. Orak Engineering is the company that became the winner in the category "Digital Transformation", and the award for "Green Innovation" for 2020 was received by Gamifino.
The finalists in the competition receive the right to use the brand of Applied Research and Communications Fund - "Excellence in Innovation", as well as the opportunity to reach potential international partners and customers in all economic fields, within the Enterprise Europe Network in over 60 countries.
