Bulgarian company EnduroSat and French company Arianespace have signed a memorandum of understanding, laying the groundwork for a long-term partnership in the field of satellite missions and their deployment into orbit, BalkanEngineer.com learned from BTA. The agreement was signed in Paris during the International Space Summit, with plans for EnduroSat to begin using Arianespace’s launch services starting in 2029.

The collaboration is intended to link several consecutive stages of space mission implementation. EnduroSat will contribute its capabilities in satellite design, manufacturing, integration, and operation, while Arianespace will provide European solutions for their deployment into orbit. In this way, the two companies plan to establish a comprehensive European chain covering the preparation of satellite missions, launch, deployment of the satellites, and subsequent in-orbit operations.
Among the specific plans is the use of the Ariane 64 rocket to launch satellite fleets for EnduroSat’s customers. The partnership will focus primarily on European institutional missions, though the services will also be available to commercial customers. The two companies also link their future work to efforts to ensure more reliable and independent European access to space. For EnduroSat, the agreement comes at a time when the company is expanding its presence in France. The Bulgarian company opened an office in Toulouse in 2025, and the new partnership adds to these efforts the opportunity to utilize European launch infrastructure for future missions.
