More than 25 years ago, SpaceCAD began building its market presence with engineering software solutions and CNC machine control technologies. Today, the company’s portfolio includes 3D scanners, additive manufacturing equipment, reverse engineering software and production monitoring systems. We saw part of this evolution at MachTech & InnoTech Expo 2026, where our team met with Kremena Dragneva, who is responsible for marketing and sales at SpaceCAD.

Founded in 1996, SpaceCAD has more than 25 years of experience in supplying engineering software solutions, design technologies and computer numerical control (CNC) machine control systems. Over the years, the Bulgarian company has expanded its portfolio to include equipment and services for 3D scanning, 3D printing and reverse engineering, tailored to the needs of manufacturing companies.
“At MachTech & InnoTech 2026, our booth highlights the capabilities of 3D scanning, reverse engineering and quality control. Visitors can explore a wide range of our 3D scanners in action, from prototyping solutions to SHINING 3D’s high-precision quality inspection systems,” Kremena Dragneva told BalkanEngineer.com.
Among the key innovations showcased this year are SHINING 3D optical tracking systems for 3D scanning. They enable the digitisation of large components, including those measuring more than 3 m, without the need to place markers on the surface being measured beforehand.
Another highlight at the booth was the EinScan Rigil professional 3D scanner, which offers a different approach to organising the measurement process. The device features its own display, built-in computing hardware and standalone operation, allowing users to scan objects and process data directly on-site.
