Romanian software company OVES Enterprise, based in Cluj-Napoca, has announced the expansion of its activities on the US market through a strategic partnership with Adler Aerospace. The joint project is aimed at developing large military drones based on the Romanian company's own artificial intelligence solution, Nemesis AI, BalkanEngineer.com learned from Economedia.

As part of the collaboration, Nemesis AI will be integrated into the Atlas6 Shield system, a solution for countering drones and electronic defense activities that combines radio frequency detection and jamming with precision kinetic interception. OVES Enterprise will create a special AI board for processing onboard data, allowing the platform to operate autonomously and provide protection against threats such as hostile drones, missiles, and artillery fire.
Atlas6 features a hybrid propulsion configuration, endurance of up to 10 hours, a payload of 45 kg, and an operating altitude of up to 4,000 m. Combined with Nemesis AI algorithms, it can be used in a wide range of applications—surveillance, countering hostile unmanned aerial vehicles, escorting units, and missions in electronically contested areas.
"The partnership with Adler Aerospace marks an important stage in the evolution of Nemesis AI—from tactical applications to large-scale platforms with high operational requirements. The goal is clear: autonomy, sustainability, and operational relevance in real-world scenarios," commented Mihai Filip, CEO of OVES Enterprise.
Founded in 2015 in Cluj-Napoca, OVES Enterprise specializes in developing software solutions for the aerospace, defense, and cybersecurity industries. Since 2019, the company has been expanding its portfolio with more complex software services in the automotive, fintech, telecommunications sectors and for government institutions, and in 2024 it also entered the drone manufacturing business.
