According to Saskho Nakov, general manager of Amphenol Technology Macedonia, the building has already been completed and the production equipment will be installed by the end of September. The plant is expected to start operating immediately after installation. The facility will complement the company's existing production base in Kochani, which currently employs nearly 3,200 people.

However, the company's ambitions do not stop there. Nakov announced that another facility is planned for construction in 2026, which will provide an additional 320 new jobs, confirming Amphenol's position as one of the most significant employers in the region.

Although the value of the investment has not been officially announced, the scale of the project demonstrates Amphenol's serious intention to continue its long-term presence in North Macedonia.

Amphenol Technology Macedonia was established in 2013 as a subsidiary of Amphenol Corporation, based in Connecticut, USA. Today, the company is one of the leading suppliers of connectivity solutions for the automotive, telecommunications, aerospace, and industrial sectors, supporting the group's global manufacturing operations through its Macedonian plants.
