Ecor Global, a leading US-based producer of environmentally friendly building materials, is ready to expand its operations with the construction of a second factory in Serbia, BalkanEngneer.com has learned from SeeNews.com. The location of the new facility is the northern municipality of Novi Becej.

In a recent press release, the local government of Novi Bečej confirmed that Ecor Global has secured land in the municipality's industrial zone for the new facility. Although the exact amount of the investment remains undisclosed, it marks a significant step forward for both Ecor Global and the region.

According to Dejan Vujovic, CEO of Ecor Global Serbia, the upcoming factory will exceed the capacity of the company's existing facility in Kraljevo. In addition, as part of the initial development phase, plans are underway to build a biomass collection center in Novi Bečej. The move underscores Ecor Global's commitment to sustainable practices and environmentally friendly production processes.

Ecor Global's decision to expand its presence in Serbia is based on the manufacturer's successful establishment in the country. The company opened its first factory in the city of Kraljevo in 2013. Since then, Ecor Global has been making significant strides in the advancement of recycling technologies and the production of innovative green building materials.

Headquartered in San Diego, Ecor Global has been at the forefront of sustainable development since its establishment in 2006. Alongside its operations in Serbia, the company maintains a presence in the Netherlands.
