A large Turkish company for the production of photovoltaic components will invest between BGN 150 and 200 million in the creation of a new enterprise in the Elenino Industrial Zone, Stara Zagora, Bulgaria, BalkanEngineer.com has learned from Dividend.eu. The investment will be carried out in several stages, and the contract for it has already been signed.

The company, which is a leader in Turkey and a competitor of large European companies, will create a modern production of photovoltaic components, which will provide new jobs and technologies in the region.

In addition to the large-scale investment from Turkey, Stefan Shoselov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Zagore Industrial Zone, also announced that negotiations with another high-tech company for the construction of an enterprise are in the final stage, which will strengthen the status of the zone as an innovation center and industry.

In addition to private investment, the Bulgarian government and the municipality actively support the development of the area. Stara Zagora is expected to receive nearly BGN 14 million under the Recovery and Sustainability Plan, intended for infrastructure improvements in Elenino. An additional 3 million and 473 thousand BGN will be co-financed by the Municipality for the construction of sewerage, water supply and improvement of the road network.
