The Stara Zagora-based company Rosi has started the construction of its largest retail base in the capital's Druzhba 1 district, BalkanEngineer.com has learned from divident.eu. With an area of 10 000 m², the site will include a 3 000 m² showroom, warehouse and production facility. Construction is expected to be completed by March 2026 and the site will open in just over a year, employing 40 people.
The company, specializing in the production of materials for furniture, also has bases in Stara Zagora, Burgas, Varna and other Bulgarian cities, supporting over 20 000 items and nearly 400 jobs. Rosi recently completed a modern logistics facility in Chirpan, which is being expanded with another 6 000 - 8 000 m² of covered warehouse space, for which 5 million leva has been earmarked.
Among the current investments is the expansion of the base in Burgas by 1200 m², which will be completed by the end of the year at a total cost of BGN 1.5 million. The company is modernising its production with automation, with a panel picking robot operating in the warehouse in Chirpan, in which EUR 400 000 has been invested.
Rossi exports production to Serbia, North Macedonia, Greece and Saudi Arabia, with increasing order volumes. The company follows the trend of customers looking for finished parts, offering services such as cutting and edging without going directly into furniture production.
