Serbian logistics company Nelt Group has announced the launch of the largest investment in its history - €100 million. The sum will be directed towards upgrading logistics infrastructure and introducing new technologies in Serbia, as well as in other key markets such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Zambia, BalkanEngineer.com has learned from SeeNews.com.
The planned investment aims to significantly expand Nelt Group's logistics capacity with a focus on optimization and modernization of existing facilities. Among the main objectives is the creation of new automated solutions and robotic systems to manage logistics processes more efficiently. In addition, the company plans to expand the capacity of its logistics hub in Dobanovci, Serbia, which will be converted into a regional logistics hub with an intermodal terminal.
"This investment is strategically important for Nelt Group as it will allow us to strengthen our position in the region and ensure greater efficiency of our operations. In addition, we will implement innovations that will meet modern requirements for sustainable development and compliance with ESG standards," said Darko Lukic, CEO of Nelt Group.
