The new facilities, covering an impressive 6,200m2, represent a significant addition to Alkaloid's infrastructure. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the buildings have been strategically designed to accommodate the production of various pharmaceutical dosage forms including tablets, film-coated tablets, capsules and bilayer tablets.
This expansion initiative is not only intended to improve Alkaloid's production capacity but also diversify the company's product portfolio. By incorporating a wider range of pharmaceutical dosage forms, the manufacturer aims to better meet the diverse needs of patients and healthcare providers, both locally and globally.
The investment comes at a time when Alkaloid is experiencing steady growth and increasing demand for its products. The company operates through two subsidiaries in North Macedonia and maintains a network of 19 subsidiaries and two representative offices in various countries including Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Romania, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, United States and United Kingdom.
