In the Industrial Zone Zagore - Elenino near Stara Zagora a second high-tech plant is to be built, which will attract an investment of over 150 million BGN and will open 200 new jobs. The new plant will be located on a site that is part of the second stage of the industrial zone, whose shareholders are the National Company Industrial Zones under the Ministry of Economy and Industry and the Stara Zagora Municipality. The investor has already applied for its intentions and signed a preliminary agreement with the industrial zone.
The investment will contribute significantly to the economic development of the region, increasing economic activity and the quality of life in the municipality. Radoslav Tanev, Executive Director of Zagore Industrial Zone, and Radostin Tanev, Deputy Mayor of Stara Zagora, met on-site with representatives of the new investor and discussed opportunities for cooperation that will improve conditions in the region in terms of public works, infrastructure and education through innovation.
This investment is the second major initiative in the Zagore - Elenino Industrial Zone in recent months. In August, another significant investment of over 240 million BGN was announced for the construction of a solar panel plant. With these projects, Stara Zagora establishes itself as a region with a favourable investment climate and capacity for high-tech industries that stimulate economic growth and increase the region's export potential.
