The Greek company Northern Greece Ceramics (KEBE) has acquired a factory in Mihailovac, Serbia for a value of €10 million, BalkanEnigneer.com has learned from Bnnbreaking.com. The strategic move includes both the site itself and investments to upgrade the facility, with the aim of strengthening KEBE's production capabilities and expanding the manufacturer's global reach.

KEBE plans to expand the facility by 13,000 m2, doubling the current production capacity from 300 to 600 tpd of bricks. By 2027, the company aims to reach its target of 1,000 t/d. Construction is due to start in March, with the factory scheduled to open next year.

With a presence in over 40 countries, KEBE is an established key player in the production of innovative structural ceramic products. The expansion into Serbia marks a significant step towards expanding production capabilities and strengthening the company's position in the global market.
