The Prime Minister of North Macedonia Hristijan Mickoski announced that in the first week of September this year a new investment is expected to be officially launched in the country, BalkanEngineer.com learned from New.mia.mk. The confirmation of investment projects of two more companies is pending.
According to the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, the possible future investment will be of the company Ipsotek and will amount to 150 million euro. At the moment, negotiations are still ongoing, and the country is in a position of close competition with another European country, a member of the European Union.
By the end of 2024, it is expected that two more projects will be approved for the expansion of already existing production facilities of large companies that are established on the market in North Macedonia. One of the investments will be in the automotive industry.
In case of successful negotiations, North Macedonia will receive approximately another quarter of a billion euro in new investments by the end of the year, which will have a significant impact on its gross domestic product.
