Hungarian business has invested over 2 billion euros in Bulgaria, and two Hungarian projects are currently being implemented. This became clear during a meeting between the Minister of Economy and Industry of Bulgaria, Dr. Petko Nikolov, and the Ambassador of Hungary to Bulgaria, H.E. Mr. Miklos Borosh, the Ministry of Economy and Industry of Bulgaria informed BalkanEngineer.com.
During their meeting, the representatives of Bulgaria and Hungary discussed the positive development of economic relations between the two countries and the potential for deepening bilateral cooperation. Ambassador Boros emphasized that Bulgaria is a reliable partner and Hungarian companies operating in the country are satisfied with the business environment.
Two Hungarian investments in Bulgaria are currently being implemented. The first is related to the production of car circuit boards in Stara Zagora and is expected to be completed by the end of this month. The second project concerns the production of solar batteries in Silistra, North-Eastern Bulgaria.
