Henkel Bulgaria has expanded its presence in the Bulgarian capital by opening a new office designed according to the Smart Work@Office concept, with a focus on innovation and sustainable development, BalkanEngineer.bg reports, citing economy.bg. Approximately 50 employees will work in the new office, designed to prioritise productivity, well-being, and inclusion.
The interior design combines the comforts of home with efficient working conditions, offering dedicated areas for individual work and concentration, as well as spaces for team projects and informal meetings.
"I am delighted with our new office, which is not only functional but also exceptionally beautiful. Here, we will build a community that embodies Henkel's culture and fosters both the professional and personal development of our employees. We have designed the spaces with a focus on maximising natural light, using eco-friendly materials, and integrating technology, all of which will significantly enhance everyone's productivity and comfort," said Blaga Videnova, President of Henkel Bulgaria.
Henkel is a global leader in sustainability with an ambitious strategy to achieve its environmental goals. By 2030, the company aims to eliminate its negative impact on the climate, by 2025, it plans to reduce the carbon footprint of its products by 65% and ensure that 100% of its packaging is recyclable or reusable.
Founded in 1998, Henkel Bulgaria operates in two main business segments: home and personal care products, such as Persil, Perwoll, and Syoss, as well as leading construction adhesives and technologies, including Ceresit and Loctite. The plant in the village of Mirovyane produces construction adhesives and mixtures, with a total of 110 employees working for the company in the country.
