German company Muehlbauer Automation Ltd, part of the Muehlbauer Group, plans to build a technology park for the assembly of parts for battery and fuel cell machinery in the northern part of the Eastern Business Zone in Stara Pazova, Serbia. BalkanEngieer.com has learned this from Cijeurope.com.
The conceptual design, prepared by NORTH Engineering Ltd Subotica, includes the construction of a three-storey production facility with an office area. Muehlbauer Group's investment in Serbia arrives a year after the Ministry of Economy's announcement of new investments in the automotive and electrical equipment manufacturing sectors worth 180 million euros.
It was also announced then that by the end of 2025, Muehlbauer Automation plans to invest EUR 29.5 million in the construction of a new factory for the production of battery and fuel cell machines in Stara Pazova and to employ 150 employees.
