German automotive parts manufacturer Auto Kabel is expanding its plant in the western Serbian municipality of Mionica, where it plans to hire 300 more workers, BalkanEngieer.com has learned from Ekapija.com.
Auto-Kabel is engaged in the production of electrical wires for the needs of the automotive industry and has been operating in Serbia since January 2019. In addition to the Mionica plant, they also operate in the United States, Mexico, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, France, China and Germany. There are currently 250 employees at the Mionica plant.
The company's intention to continue investing in Mionica confirms the fact that the municipality has proven to be a good business environment. Serbia, and with it municipalities like Monza, are changing for the better and this is evidenced by the many new factories and new jobs. Mionica today has a record low number of unemployed, less than 300.
