The Chinese company Ningbo Zhenyu Technology plans to invest 50 million euros in opening an auto parts factory in the Serbian town of Apatin, BalkanEngineer.com has learned from SeeNews.com.
On June 28, the mayor of Apatin Dubravka Kopach and representatives of the Chinese company signed a memorandum of understanding regarding the project, which defines the obligations of both parties related to the construction of the planned plant.
The facility will produce auto parts such as rotors, stators and other items using stamping, welding, assembly, injection molding and numerical control technologies. According to the plan, the Chinese investor will invest 50 million euros from 2024 to 2028 for the construction, equipment and commissioning of the new plant, which will initially employ 150 workers.
