Bulgarian engineering company Kozloduy plans to expand its operations with a significant investment aimed at improving its production capabilities, BalkanEngineer.com has learned from SeeNews.com. The company announced its plans to invest BGN 5 million (approximately EUR 2.6 million) in the construction of a new production base for metal products and components in Burgas.
The new facility will be located in the Burgas Industrial and Logistics Park and aims to diversify and significantly increase the company's production of non-standard metal equipment. The planned manufacturing facility will focus on the fabrication of a variety of metal products, including piping, pressure vessels, billets, tanks, valves and chain conveyors. Special attention will also be given to the production of non-standard vessels and apparatus, which are of key importance in various industrial applications.
Construction of the new facility is expected to create at least 20 new jobs to build on the current team of over 100 employees.
Kozloduy created a niche for itself in the construction and installation of machines and equipment for the energy and petrochemical industries. With a strong export orientation, the company has a solid clientele in several major European countries, including France, Italy, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Turkey.
Expansion in Burgas is strategically important given the city's growing reputation as an industrial and logistics hub. With this investment, Kozloduy not only aims to improve its production capacity, but also to strengthen its position both on the domestic and international markets, ensuring sustainable growth and development in the coming years.
